Sublimation inks are radically different from those already known to all inkjet ink .

Apply such inks for thermal image on the cloth , mugs, plates , ceramic figurines , pens , puzzles , and other souvenirs. Note , the fabric must be used exclusively synthetic , and a surface , for example, cups or plates must be coated with a special thermal transfer .

Sublimation process itself - is the transition from the solid to the gaseous state under the influence of temperature. With thermal transfer dye molecules become very volatile and penetrate deep into the tissue structure or other surface . With this image have high light fastness and resistance to mechanical stress (especially abrasion ).
