Warranty support for TM ColorWay products

Information about the warranty support of products (devices) of ColorWay, PrintPro, ScreenPro trademarks
In case of malfunction or incorrect operation of the purchased products of ColorWay, PrintPro, ScreenPro trademarks, you can contact the Authorized Service Center (ASC) or directly to the device seller (shop, outlet, etc.) for a free service.
If you need to contact the ASC for warranty repair, you must provide the following:
- Goods in original packaging and complete set;
- The filled-in warranty card of the fixed pattern (if provided by the manufacturer) and a document confirming the fact of purchase of the goods (cash or sales receipt, invoice or delivery note);
- Description of the defect and the possible reason for its occurrence in written form (in case the products are sent through the direct access via Nova Poshta carrier).
Readme! For products of ColorWay and PrintPro trademarks, which are used in printing devices, it is also necessary to provide a sample of printing (if the malfunction is linked to print quality).
Note! To speed up the resolution of service issues, the direct access for warranty maintenance of ColorWay, PrintPro, ScreenPro products was developed jointly with Rubin Service Center.
Direct access
The direct access service allows you to send the goods for warranty maintenance directly to ColorWay ASC using Nova Poshta network (in case of long-distance location of ASC or Seller).
If it is necessary to carry out warranty maintenance, you can send the ColorWay, PrintPro, ScreenPro products to the ColorWay Authorized Service Center, through Nova Poshta carrier (at your own expense). In case of confirmation of the warranty case, the product will be repaired or replaced in the shortest possible time and sent back to ColorWay ASC. If, after the diagnostics, the product is recognized as non-warranty goods, the claimed malfunction or incorrect operation will not be confirmed, the product will be sent to the owner at his own expense.
Caution! In cases of non-receipt of goods by the recipient within 5 days from the date of shipment, ColorWay ASC reserves the right to withdraw shipment from the carrier. The goods are kept by ColorWay ASC and can be picked up at the address: 04073, Ukraine, Kyiv, 21 Stepana Bandera Ave., (former Moskovsky Ave.), office 402. After 6 months of storage, the goods are subject to liquidation.
If the failure was recognized as a non-warranty case, you can contact the Rubin SC and eliminate the defect on a fee basis.

The warranty period for ColorWay™ products is indicated on the packaging. Within the warranty period, ColorWay™ undertakes to repair or replace the goods or defective parts in course of warranty service (at the discretion of the ColorWay Warranty Department).
Under the terms of this Warranty, repair or replacement does not guarantee the right to extend or start a new warranty period.
To get a warranty service, you must provide:
- sales (cash) receipt or other documents confirming the purchase;
- correctly filled-in warranty card (if provided by the manufacturer), where the model, product serial number (if provided by the manufacturer), date of sale, warranty period, the buyer’s signature and store seal are clearly indicated;
- The device is in the original packaging and with full set.
The goods are not subject to warranty service in the following cases:
- the rules set forth in the Operating Manual have been violated;
- there is evidence of tempering (attempt to self-repair the product or its repair by third parties);
- damaged or missing seals (if provided by the manufacturer), mechanical damage to the product.
The warranty does not apply to the product in the following cases:
- the presence of mechanical damage due to transportation;
- the presence of damage caused by ingestion of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
- the presence of damage caused by external influence of substances or liquids on the elements of the device;
- the presence of damage caused by the elements, fire, household factors, random external factors (voltage drop in the electrical network is higher, thunderstorm, etc.), incorrect connection, use of low-quality or non-original accessories;
- no device recharging for 6 months. If a product battery has not been charged for a specified time, the product may stop functioning; also there can be no option to restore its capacity or length of service.
Caution! Warranty obligations do not apply to products with mechanical damage arising during or after the transfer of goods to the consumer. The manufacturer is not liable for possible harm, directly or indirectly caused by ColorWay™ products to people, pets and property if this happened as a result of violation of the rules and conditions for storage, connection and use of the goods, in case of intentional or careless actions (no actions) of the consumer or other persons, as well as in case of force majeure circumstances.
To prevent the goods from losing working capacity, the end user is required to operate and maintain the product in accordance with the specifications and manuals supplied with the product.
Refillable cartridge sets (RCS) and Continues ink supply system (CISS)
The warranty for ColorWay™ RSC and CISS is 12 months from the date of purchase and does not exceed the expiration date specified on the product packaging.
Caution! Before using RCS or CISS, make sure that the compatibility mark on its package matches your printing equipment. It is not recommended to use RCS or CISS, which are not compatible with your printing equipment.
For warranty service you must provide:
- Sales (cash) receipt or other document confirming the purchase;
- Original packaging;
- Print sample (if the defect is related to print quality);
- Correctly and completely filled-in warranty card.
Caution! If there are no documents confirming the fact of purchase, the warranty period is calculated from the production date, which is indicated on the packaging.
The warranty is valid under the conditions that the warranty period for the product has not expired
Warranty Implementation and Support
Warranty support of CISS (RCS) includes: complete replacement of the product or its individual parts, repair of individual parts of the product, replacement of electronic components of the product in case of defects that were not caused by the actions of the consumer (does not apply to batteries, inks and other consumables included in various complete sets of products).
Configuration and installation of CISS (RCS) are described in detail in the installation manual. Setup and installation can be performed independently or by experts of the Authorized Service Center (ASC) on a paid basis, according to the rates of the Authorized Service Center (ASC).

Warranty service is not carried out in case of violation: the integrity and sealing of any part of the product (including CISS cables), the operability of electronic components (microcircuits) of the device.
Warranty service may be partially or fully denied in the following cases:
- Violation of technical conditions of CISS (RCS) operation or installation;
- Use of ink that is not recommended for inkjet printing devices, including the use of a mixture of ink from different manufacturers, as well as a mixture of water-soluble and pigment inks;
- The availability of mechanical damage caused by careless use, installation or transportation and non-compliance of the rules for product care;
- The availability of rude violations of the printer's using rules;
- Damage caused by a natural disaster, flood, fire, etc.
Caution! Warranty obligations do not apply to the products with mechanical damage arising during or after the transfer of goods to the consumer. The manufacturer shall not be liable for possible harm, directly or indirectly caused by ColorWay™ products, to people, pets and property if this happened as a result of violation of the rules and conditions for storage, connection and use of the product, in case of intentional or careless actions (no actions) by a consumer or other persons, as well as in case of force majeure circumstances.
Caution! Warranty does not apply to the constituent elements of the printer.
Toner cartridges
The warranty for ColorWay™ compatible laser toner cartridges is 12 months from the date of purchase until the original cartridge toner if fully used, but not more than 36 months from the production date specified on the product.
The ColorWay™ laser toner cartridge quality assurance ensures that the cartridges are fully compatible with laser printing equipment as specified.
Caution! Before using the cartridge, make sure that marking indicated on its packaging matches your printing equipment. It is not recommended to use a cartridge that is incompatible with your printing equipment.
For warranty service you must provide:
- Sales (cash) receipt or other document confirming the purchase;
- Original packaging;
- Sample test print (if the defect is related to print quality).
Caution! If there are no documents confirming the fact of purchase, the warranty period is calculated from the date of manufacture of the product, which is indicated on the packaging.
The warranty on compatible ColorWay™ laser toner cartridges is terminated:
- In case if the original cartridge toner is finished (controlled by the weight of the cartridge when it is opened and/or by the chip readings (for cartridges models equipped with a chip);
- In case of improper storage and usage in an environment that does not meet the specified requirements for this cartridge (the rules are specified in the manual to the cartridge and/or printed on the package).
The warranty does not apply to ColorWay™ compatible laser toner cartridges in the following cases:
- Damage to the original protective seals, detection of traces of opening, refilling, restoration of the cartridge, as well as in cases where the product has mechanical damage (cracks, chips, deformation);
- Regular operational wear;
- When the photo drum of the cartridge has fogging, mechanical damage and detachment of the photo layer or other damage caused by violation of the rules of storage and usage;
- Violation of the cartridge installation rules indicated on the packaging and set out in the manual for the printing equipment;
- presence of traces of the external environment - high or low temperature, moisture, traces of animals, insects, as well as other factors affecting the characteristics of the product and capable of disabling it;
- when a malfunction is caused by an unauthorized change in the product design provided by the Manufacturer or in the case of damage detection caused by the ingestion of foreign objects into the product;
- when premature wear is caused by the use of printing materials other than office paper, such as cardboard, corrugated paper with a rough surface, fleecy special materials for printing, including velvet paper, as well as in case of damage to the photo layer of the drum caused by the sharp edges of the paper sheet.
Caution! Warranty does not apply to products with mechanical damage that occurred after the transfer of goods to the consumer. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage, directly or indirectly caused by the products of ColorWay™.
Ink cartridges
The warranty for ColorWay™ compatible inkjet cartridges is 3 months from the date of purchase and does not exceed the expiration date specified on the product packaging or until the cartridge (ink) is fully used.
The ColorWay™ inkjet cartridge quality assurance implies that the cartridges are fully compatible with laser printing equipment accordingly to the marking on the product.
Caution! Before using the cartridge, make sure that the compatibility marking indicated on its packaging matches your printing equipment. It is not recommended to use a cartridge that is incompatible with your printing equipment.
Warranty claims subject to incomplete use of the cartridge resource (ink) are considered in the following cases:
- Depressurization of the cartridge (systematic leakage of the cartridge ink);
- кWhen the cartridge is not recognized by the printer (the driver reports errors while the cartridge using);
- When one or more print colors are missing during the first cartridge launch (starts the nozzle check in the driver);
For warranty service you must provide:
- Sales (cash) receipt or other document confirming the purchase;
- Original packaging;
Caution! In the case of absence the documents confirming the fact of purchase, the warranty period is calculated from the date of manufacture of the product, which is indicated on the packaging.
Warranty service for ColorWay™ compatible ink cartridges is terminated in the following cases:
- The original cartridge ink is finished (it is controlling by weight and/or cartridge readings);
- refill or top-up of the cartridge;
- Improper cartridge storage and usage (the information is indicated on the package).
The warranty does not apply to ColorWay™ compatible ink cartridges in the following cases:
- Damage of the cartridge set of contacts, the print head, the detection of opening traces, as well as in the case of the products mechanical damage (cracks, chips, deformation);
- Regular operational wear;
- Violation of the cartridge installation rules set forth in the manual for the printing equipment;
- the presence of traces of the external environment - high or low temperature, moisture, the presence of traces of animals, insects, as well as other factors affecting the characteristics of the product and capable of disabling it;
- when a malfunction is caused by an unauthorized change of the product design provided by the Manufacturer or in the case of damage detection caused by ingestion of foreign objects, debris, etc.;
